Emma Raducanu, the 19-year-old British sensation, will face Caroline Garcia of France in her debut appearance at the Billie Jean King Cup, formerly known as the Fed Cup. The competition pits national teams against each other in a series of best-of-three matches.

The Billie Jean King Cup is one of the most prestigious team competitions in tennis. Named after the legendary American tennis player, the competition was first held in 1963. Great Britain has won the competition nine times, most recently in 1995.
