Hollywood actor Sam Neill and ABC presenter Laura Tingle have dismissed rumors of a breakup after being spotted together at the opening of Italian opera La Traviata in Sydney on Wednesday night.
The pair's appearance together comes after reports last month that they had quietly split after three years of dating. However, their affectionate gestures and smiles at the event suggest that the rumors were unfounded.
Neill, 75, and Tingle, 61, first sparked dating rumors in 2018 when they attended the Mid Winter Ball at Parliament House together. Despite being private about their relationship, the couple has been seen together on several other occasions since then.
Neill, who has two marriages behind him, has spoken candidly about the comfort he finds in Tingle, who is also divorced.
