The connection test may be running in the background and causing the browser to open to the "msftconnecttestredirect" page.

Solution

To resolve this issue, follow these steps:

1. Click on the "Settings" icon in your browser.
2. Select "Default apps."
3. In the "Protocol" section, find "HTTP/HTTPS" and click on it.
4. Select your preferred browser from the list.
